In a shocking revelation, a travel vlogger’s cross-border adventure blurs the line between influencer culture and international Espionage! Indian travel influencer, Jyoti Malhotra, famous for her Youtube channel, Travel with JO has been arrested for allegedly spying for Pakistan. It has been revealed that Pakistani Intelligence recruited her to provide sensitive information in the guise of travels.

‘Entangled adventures took a dark turn’

What caused the suspicion?
A Haryana based influencer, Jyoti Malhotra was apprehended and arrested on the suspicion of providing sensitive information to Pakistan. Reportedly, she was in regular contact with Pakistani handlers and made regular sponsored trips to Pakistan. Her social ties came to light as her communications intensified during the blackouts and heightened tension between India and Pakistan. Her social trail raised major Red Flags!

Charged and Booked
Jyoti was booked under Sections 3 and 5 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923, and Section 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Act.
SP Shashank Kumar addressed the media saying, “Modern warfare is not only fought on the border. The PIOs are trying to recruit some social media influencers, and they use that to push their narrative. We received inputs from the central agencies, and we arrested Jyoti Malhotra. She had visited Pakistan multiple times and China once. She was in contact with the PIOs. We have taken her on a 5-day police remand.”
It does not end here…She was situated in Pahalgam prior to the attack and in connection with Pakistan Intelligence officials during the aftermath of Operation Sindoor. It is crystal clear that Pakistan was developing her as an asset, but was she the only one?

Partner in Crime – Fellow Pakistan Spies
This investigation has led to unmasking Four Indians who are suspected to have links with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), which breeds, fosters and trains cross-border terrorism.

Who are they?

Shahzad, a businessman from Uttar Pradesh was arrested by a Special Task Force for his alleged involvement in cross-border smuggling and providing the ISI with sensitive information related to national security. His activities, resulting in espionage, have put him on the radar for investigation.

Devendra, an ordinary resident of a village in Kaithal was arrested for passing sensitive information to the Pakistani Army and ISI. During the interrogation, he said he was in contact with the Pakistan Intelligence Agency, ISI and also provided information about Operation Sindoor to the ISI as well as the Pakistani Army.

Youtuber Priyanka Senapati, also known for her travel vlogging, is currently being investigated for her involvement in fellow creator, Jyoti Malhotra’s case. Priyanka’s visit to Kartarpur, Pakistan triggered the investigation against her and sources reveal that she developed a friendship with Jyoti Malhotra on her visit to Pakistan.
