He adapted what he calls OMAD (One Meal A Day) which led to his drastic weight loss and is glad how he’s in the best shape of his life.

Nepotism or Favoritism

Acting as a launchpad for aspiring actors in the industry, KJo has been constantly accused of only launching Nepo Kids. His reaction to this question captured our attention as he speaks about Laksh Lalwani and Raghav Juyal crediting him for introducing them to the Silver Screen and guys, they are ‘outsiders’. He questions, “If you can discredit me for launching a nepo-kid, then why can’t you credit me for launching an outsider actor or a director? Why?”

Despite this, he is committed to launch fresh faces to Bollywood and will continue doing so.

Who is ‘apna banda’ for KJo?

Talking about Favouritism and budding stars, he talks about Aryan Khan, dropping major hints at his directorial debut saying, “If there’s a king, there will be a prince…He has an individualistic voice as a director.” We all expect King Khan’s prodigy to have tons of sass and attitude but KJo dismissed this pre-conceived notion, calling him ‘apna banda’ and praised Aryan for being dedicated to his work Well, we need to ‘watch out’ for his directorial debut on Netflix and can only hope not to be disappointed after the hype generated by KJo.

Bye-Bye Bollywood!

For a Veteran in the Industry, Kjo has impressively catered to the audience but can he keep up? Raj Shamani asks Karan if he intends to quit Bollywood anytime soon or fancy another venture. He responds by saying, “I want to die while I’m still making movies. I want to die on a set.” Dharma fans, Rejoice!

Star in Rising or Hiding?

For a man who has spent so many years in the industry, KJo claims to have strong creative intuition. When asked about his opinion on the next big star, he was quick enough to mention Suhana Khan, appreciating her strong artistic depth and how her talent shines through in the upcoming movie, “King.”

This father-daughter collab is much awaited.
